Making contact with your local coaches and coaches assistants you can offer a great deal to teams and for their individual photos. Because the local photographer can cost three times as much as you are going to charge, you are sure to make this job a success.

You can also advertise online, in the newspaper or you can hang flyers in local schools and stores. Coaches and parents alike will see your advertisement and they will pass the sale offer on your pictures to the teams and the players.

You can schedule appointments with teams and take the photos right on the field. Players should be in their uniforms. They can pretend to swing a bat, hold their mitt or stand in a batting stance. After taking one team photograph and showing it to everyone that you know, you will gain additional exposure and can gain new customers in taking team photos.

Over one summer maybe you would be able to get one or two teams to allow you to take their photos. During the new season, you will be able to expand and have three or four teams that you take photos of. Before you know it, the five dollars a photo is going to turn into big amounts of money for you!
