Standing in line

Do you want to make some money while you are in school or at the mall? While it may sound rather funny, you can make a bit of money every day. All you really have to do is hold peoples places in line while they are doing something else.

Take for example if you pack your lunch every day instead of buying your lunch at school. Your friend is always the last in the cafeteria because his classroom is at the other end of the building. What you can do is say, for a quarter, I will get in line and hold you a space until you get to the lunch room. You could even purchase your friends lunch for them with their money while they are working their way to the cafeteria but for a fee of course.

If you are waiting for a baseball game, basketball, soccer or football game, you can hold someone’s place while they park the car, run and get a hot dog or what ever it is for a small fee. On the other hand, you can purchase the tickets with the money that they give you instead of their waiting in line.

If you are able, you can do this little waiting in line game for as many projects as you can earn money every day. While you are freeing up someone else’s time they are really going to appreciate it.

Another line watch that you can do is when concert tickets go on sale and someone you know really wants tickets but can’t stand in line – tell them you will hold a place for them until five minutes before tickets go on sale, and they can jump in and purchase their tickets without having to do all the waiting around. Take a good book or magazine and the wait will seem short while you are making money! Be sure to set a fee and state that you are only doing this for money from the start. You do not want to wait around for an hour, and not be paid.
