Sell unwanted items
No matter where you look around your house, you can find some goodies that you can sell to make money. There are the clothes that you grew out of, your old toys, toys that you don’t want and so much more. Gathering up what you can sell: Ask your parents for stuff from the garage, the attic, their rooms, their work and then you can move on to the rest of your family or relatives. After you have a big pile of stuff that you want to get rid of you can sell it locally by having a yard sale or garage sale in the summer months.
If you come up with stuff that you can sell all the time, you can even join in the local flea markets, renting a table and selling your stuff even faster. If you are going to sell stuff to other kids, they are going to be interested in music, sports, collectibles, clothes, and stuff. Take anything that anyone will give you, clean it up and make it look great – someone will need it and pay you for it!
If you have the ability to sell outdoors in a yard sale or in a flea market you are going to be able to get rid of most anything, from tires, tools, dishes, light fixtures, clothes, and just about everything that you would have in your own house. This is a great way to keep turning over inventory when you have a number of relatives giving you stuff that they don’t want for you to sell.
Dvd’s, Cd’s, tapes, computer equipment and sports equipment are going to be some of your fastest selling items when you offer a fair price. Remember you are not selling something that is brand new, and those who come to yard sales or flea markets are expecting to find bargains. If you price your goodies too high, your sales are going to be lower than what you might have hoped.
