Where are you going to get the flowers that you will be selling? Well, this is all going to depend. You can bargain with a florist that you are going to purchase so many flowers a day, and then you pay for them at the end of the day, but you need a special price break.

If you live near a greenhouse or flower gardening center, you might be able to work with them to find a great price break on the flowers that you buy, or maybe if you have a green thumb, you can work on growing and picking your own flowers. However, you get your flowers, but sure to try to get the lowest price.

You will also need a money box, some change, and some signs stating you are selling and what your prices are, you might like to use some tissue paper that you buy in bulk to wrap the flowers in.  The best time to sell flowers on the street is anytime from lunchtime until just after the ‘after work rush home’.

Giving out cards and flyers to everyone that walks by even if they are not purchasing anything right now will help boost your business later when they need fresh flowers. Many adults like fresh flowers in their office, in their home and as presents for several types of special occasions. The extra flowers that you have during the end of the day should be sold at a discount so you don’t miss any money that you purchased them for.  Ask your friends, neighbors, relatives, or anyone you see on your way home if they would like a few fresh flowers at a discount price.
