What you are going to need is a few sets of stencils, cardboard, hardboard, or large pieces of wood. You are going to stencil on the names or the words that the business wants, and in the colors that they want, and you will deliver them as needed to these businesses.

You can also sell creative signs to all types of sports teams, or homeowners. To the sports teams you are going to be creating signs for their fields, for the buses, for the school, and for pep rallies. For the homeowners, you could be creating signs for the gardens, for the farm, or for display on mailboxes.

You can find scrap wood at construction companies or at lumber stores. You can find cardboard cheap from local grocery stores that are going to be throwing this cardboard away.  You should look for ways to get what you need at the most inexpensive prices while giving the customer what they want in order to make the most money.

Make up flyers of ‘what you are offering’ and give them to local businesses, local schools, coaches, and everyone else that you know. Get your name out there by creating a few free signs for businesses that you know or homeowners who need a little sign on their mailbox.

You can make more money by creating signs for the holiday sales at the businesses that you are working for. Making signs for all the holidays so they can reuse them will get them interested in wanting to purchase a set of signs from you!
