Jar displays

Small mason jars filled with fish, tad poles or other little creates are what many children want. You can make money by selling jar displays to other children.  All you have to do is find a supply of jars from your parents, from your grandmothers canning collection or you can buy them cheap at yard sales. The rest is going to be ‘free’ stuff you find in the wild.

What you are going to do is take the jars that you have and take a walk in the woods, the fields, or by the waters edges and collect things that other kids find just fascinating but decorative at the same time and sell them.

You can sell these items to children in the park, at the beach, in school, at the playground or you could end up selling them on the street to others.

What are going to be the most wanted jar displays? Depending on how interested the children are in your area, you can collect frog eggs, fish eggs, bird eggs, snakes skin, ants, lizards, salamanders, or any type of little spider, caterpillars, butterflies, worms or creepy crawlers.  Children find nature most fascinating and so you will during the time that you spend collecting them!

You will need to put grass, sand, water, twigs, leaves or other items in the jar for the little creatures, and this is what makes the display more complete.

Keep track of how much your little jars are really costing you. You could find that you have less than twenty-five cents in making any one jar, so your selling them for three dollars is a great increase in the money you are making. You can sell the jars to businesses that will have even more exposure to children who want a little creature pet of their own.
