House cleaning

Adults are busy everywhere and still the house cleaning chores still need to be done. You can make money helping others out at the same time by cleaning their house. You can use your own tools, use the homeowners tools, or you can take just specific items with you to clean a home.

Who are your customers going to be? Anyone that is too busy to get their house cleaned their selves, and those who are unable or don’t want to do it.  Your customers could include the disabled, the elderly, those working long hours, or the mother busy with her children. House cleaning differs for each customer.

Some of the tools that you are going to use in house cleaning include a vacuum, a mop, broom, bucket, dusters, rags, floor cleaners, dusting chemicals, window tools, window cleaners, and polishers. You may have to do laundry for some of the people that you work for – just include this in your hourly or your set fee. You may be required to scrub carpets occasionally and this could be a special price if you have to.

Start by marketing yourself to others around your home, in your neighborhood, that you know are too busy to get everything done all the time. Depending on what you are doing for some people, you may only be able to get one or two hours done a day. On certain days where you don’t have as many chores, you could fit more customers into your schedules.

Be sure that someone always knows where you are going if you are going to work in homes of people that you don’t know.

Be sure to do what you are told to keep your customers happy to build up your customer listing. Offer one time services for when someone is sick, or continued services for those who are too busy to clean.
