Drawing cartoons You can set up your shop in your front lawn, on the street corner, at the park, at the fair or on the street in a large city. Anywhere you find that you have a large amount of people passing you daily. All you have to do is find a way to grab their attention. Once they stop and look, they will want you to ‘draw them’! Drawings of people that are exaggerated are caricatures. You exaggerate the shape of the nose, the hair, the eyes or the lips, always the head. What you are going to need to get started is a set of drawing pencils, paints, charcoal, or what ever you feel most comfortable drawing with. An easel is almost a must so you can draw without the paper being on your lap. You should draw a few others and have them on display around you so people walking by you will know what you do and how well you can draw. Along with the people that you meet on the street, you can advertise in the local papers, with flyers, with business cards passed out to others so that your name gets out there. You could draw at parties, events, fairs, and anywhere that someone tells you hundreds of people are going to be. You can make anywhere from five dollars for a quick outline to twenty dollars per drawing, sometimes more. if you are a very quick drawer this is going to work in your advantage so you are able to make more money every day. Manners are going to be an important part of your success when dealing in the public situations. More Ideas to make money |
