Children’s parties

Adults often have parties for special occasions for children for birthdays, kindergarten graduation and similar situations. You can help at children’s parties as a helper, as a clown, as a server, or just an extra pair of hands and make money at the same time.

You can advertise your services by making flyers or small cards and passing them to adults that you see in the park, in your neighborhood, and putting flyers in stores, in the laundry mat, or in the church.  Be sure to list your hourly wage on the flyer so adults know if they can afford you or if they want the extra help for that price. You should be paid at the end of every job.  You won’t be busy every weekend until you build up your customer listing.

What are some of the things that you could be doing? You could be making sure that children stay in the yard, that children are playing nice or you could make sure that children are safe while playing on the swings. You could blow up balloons, be clown, entertain by playing music or dancing or you could paint faces for the children. Decorating and playing games with the children are other ideas that the adults could have for you.

After the party is over, the adults may need your help to clean up, to set the house back in order and to take back party supplies that were rented. You can help wash the dishes, put presents away, or you could be walking some children home after the party.

This is the perfect job for an older child who loves being with other children. Being nice, polite, and showing up on time will build your good reputation.
