Start collecting all the different types of bottles that you can. You can use any type of glass bottles, no matter what color, size, shape or what ever they are. What you are going to do first is take the labels off the bottles and sort them out. Be sure to pitch any bottle that have any type of crack, hole, chip or that are broken in any way. Safety is important when using glass in your business.

You can find free bottles by collecting them from home, from your neighbors, friends or by asking around at a business that would be using many types of different glass bottles. Sell them at fairs, in school, at the playground or by mail.

Next you can collect all types of flowers, twigs, leaves, pieces of plastic, papers, glitter or anything that you can break down and put in a bottle. What you are going to do is clean out the bottles with hot water, fill them with your collected goodies, and then refill them with water. Styrofoam, plastic, cork or anything that you can get your hands on to make a stopper for the bottles is what you are going to use. You can decorate the top with a ribbon, flower, leaf or anything that you can glue on or nothing at all.

You are going to create the floating picture in a bottle. Because the bottle is sealed, anyone can use this bottle to decorate any room, office, house, or business. The more bottles that you make, and by using different things in the bottles, you will have something that everyone will want. Each bottle is unique. This is a selling point.
