You can make a schedule and create a flyer. State what days your deliveries are and the other days are when you are making and baking cakes.  Offering candles for birthdays, plastic flowers for anniversaries and other types of decorations can increase your sales as well.

Your rates should include a special rate for two or three cakes a month for individuals, and a rate that would be ten (or five) cakes a week for a business. The ongoing business is going to be the staple of our income, with individual sales bringing in more over the holidays, birthdays and other types of special occasions. This is a business where you would need to be responsible in using the stove and in delivery, so you would have to be an older teenager.

Having just three or four types of cakes that you make weekly with an expansion of maybe three or four more during the holidays or certain times of the year, you will be more capable of finding your ingredients in a bulk pricing.

Advertise by handing everyone you know your business card stating your services. Meet with small market owners offering your cake services for the weekend shoppers.  Use flyers on doorknobs before the holiday season to spread the word about your cake services and your delivery service.
