Baby-sit on the beach

Living near the beach, you have several more options than some young adults do, in finding a job. The babysitting on the beach is a job that you can create for yourself. You can do this job every day, or only on the weekdays, what ever it is that you like.  You can make money daily from tourists on the beach.

What you are going to need to do is take a life saving class and a babysitting class. You will be watching and entertaining children under the age of twelve while they are on the beach. Sometimes parents just want an hour to their selves, other times they want to make sure that their children are having as much fun as possible which is where you come into the picture.

You should limit your classes to no more than four or five children a day, because over that limit you can find it very difficult to watch and entertain than many children.  You can actually watch the children on the beach or at the pool.  At a pool with a limited area they can ‘roam’ is sometimes easier for you.

You can advertise your services online with travel agents or booking agents online. You can advertise your services with particular hotels or condominiums that are rented in the local area or you can pass out flyers on the beach when you don’t have any children now.  This job is recommended for the older young adult as a lot of responsibility is on the line with this job, working with children.

You should be able to present any one with recommendations, proof of the classes that you have taken, and a few phone numbers or cell phone numbers of references. Most parents on vacation are going to check your references and allow you to baby-sit their children so they can get a break from the kids if only for a little while.  You can charge by the hour or by the day, depending on what hours you are going to work and where you are watching the children.
