Where should you go? You can investigate with the local television stations and ask if they have a need for anyone to be in a commercial. Leave your business card, name and number or at least a flyer that states you are interested in appearing in commercials, even if it is free.  Once you have been in one or two commercials, you can make up a resume and include this listing on it so you can then search out paid positions!

From the listing, you created of local businesses that you see on the television all the time, start frequenting their businesses and become friends with the owners. As you become friends with the owners you can ask if you can be in their commercial or how much they would pay the people that are in their commercials.

Another way to grab the business owners attention and to make them want to be in your commercial, is to come up with a unique idea of how a commercial would run, and pass this by them. It is almost as if you are giving them the commercial idea so they will put you in their commercial.

When you continue to visit with the businesses that are on the television most often and when you continue visiting with the local television stations a few times a month you are bound to get on television. You can make a few dollars to a few hundred dollars for each commercial you appear in!
